Working from her upstate New York studio, Annette Ferdinandsen's handcrafted organic creations are influenced by nature, her travels and surroundings. Her father and grandfather were both model makers for renowned Danish sculptors. Ferdinandsen followed her lineage and attended the Rhode Island School of Design studying sculpture. This background in sculpture has influenced how important form is in her work...subtle curves and movements are signatures of her pieces.
